His positions include Chief Information Security Officer at Kauvery Group of Hospitals, Chief Technology Officer for Cura Health Care and it’s allied entities, (A Medical Devices Design and Manufacturing company), Chief Technology Officer at Cherrytec Intelisolve Ltd., (IT Solutions provider in India and Middle East), Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Data Privacy Officer at Thinksoft Global Services Ltd, (a Software Testing Organization for Banking and Financial Services), Head of Network and Technology for Apcom Group of companies (Networking, BPO and KPO) and Strategic Business Unit Head with TVS Group of companies (Managed the Manufacturing unit for defense segment - P&L Responsibility). Vijay Anand, is the SVP - Global IT & IS with CorroHealth, a Carlyle Group company. His previous assignment was with Chennai based Matrimony.com as HEAD IT.
His work involves providing technology vision, strategy and leadership for developing and implementing information technology & security initiatives in CorroHealth. His proficiency lies in creating strategic IT Annual and long-term roadmaps with focus towards generating new revenue streams through innovation and intelligence. Instrumental in conceptualization, design and early implementation of disruptive technologies like BI, Cloud, Virtualization, RPA, Mobility, and Analytics at these companies.
Vijay holds his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering and holds many certifications like CISA,CISM,CDPSE,CPSP,CISP,ITIL in technology and information security.
Held leadership roles at companies such as Matrimony.com, TVS INFOTECH, Mobius, String info, RCC Anna University and helped execute large projects in India, APAC, Europe & US.
Vijay is an active speaker/panelist in various engineering colleges and in domestic & international forums / conferences.
Vijay is also the ex-secretary and council member of CIO KLub, Chennai Chapter. Has been instrumental in organizing various technology conferences and seminars.
He’s also an Executive Council Member of SVCE Alumni Association and DBPPA contributing to the development of student community through student-industry interactions and partnerships.
His priorities are to Optimize the IT to gain efficiency, integrate apps, data and processes to improve productivity, add and manage cloud infrastructure to increase agility, and build modern applications for faster processing.
He’s an award winner of several CIO awards in India with 20+ years of cross functional and hands-on technology experience in leading Healthcare, IT, BPO, Manufacturing, E-commerce & Auditing companies.
